Privacy Policy Fisherman's Friend

Fisherman's Friend USA (FF) has long recognized that individuals with whom we conduct business value their privacy, and FF is committed to protecting your privacy online. Please read this Privacy Policy to understand how your personal information will be treated as you make full use of Our many offerings. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time, so please check back periodically.
1. WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERSThis Privacy Policy covers FF's treatment of personally identifiable information that FF may collect when you are on this site. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that FF does not own or control, or to people that FF does not manage or employ. This Privacy Policy only applies to information which FF collects from you on this site.
2. COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATIONYou can visit most areas for this site without revealing who You are or providing any information about Yourself. However, some of Our services require that You identify Yourself in order to enable the services. In such circumstances, FF may request and collect personal information from You, including Your name, address, zip code, e-mail address, company name, and home telephone number, business telephone number, and facsimile number. Your response to these inquiries is strictly voluntary. FF also accepts e-mails from you, as such, when you send us an e-mail, we will have the contents of your e-mail as well as your e-mail address. 4. COOKIESAs part of offering and providing customizable and personalized services, FF may use cookies to store and sometimes track information about you. FF is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of external sites.

SECURITY AND INTEGRITY OF INFORMATIONThe security of your personally identifiable information is important to us, and we treat our data as assets that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access. FF employs reasonable information security techniques. Despite these security measures, no security system is absolute. FF DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT YOUR PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION WILL BE PROTECTED AGAINST LOSS, MISUSE OR ALTERATION BY THIRD PARTIES.
8. RETENTION OF INFORMATIONFF retains your personally identifiable information, as necessary, for business purposes and as required by government regulation. We dispose of records and delete information when our record periods expire.

You can always contact us in order to (i) delete your personally identifiable information from our systems; (ii) update your personally identifiable information previously provided to us by e-mailing us.
